I've recently just launched PhotoMerchant - a Software as a Service application deployed in the cloud, offering Photographers a cost effective and simple way to design and manage their own website and photography business. It's a pretty comprehensive tool that aims to compete with the likes of SmugMug, Zenfolio and PhotoShelter but we have plans to make it the killer app amongst professional photographers.

Plastic Forks: The crap amongst the pidgeons

Before YouTube and Vimeo there was Plastic Forks: an online video repository for the worlds video off-cuts and half-arsed video projects. It was never intended to compete with the short-film sites such as iFilm or Atom Films. Instead, the idea was for the video stream to be rich with potential, random ideas, rough sketches and video experiments. The result would be streaming video wallpaper and a chaotic video noise wrapped up under a single brand.
